* CDFinder now catalogs Elgato EyeTV recordings (.eyetv). CDFinder will show the thumbnail for the recording, and also important metadata as well, such as the EPG description, director, actors, and much more. All that is cataloged, displayed, and can of course be searched as well
* The GeoFinder inside CDFinder now uses the street-level OpenStreetMap for the GPS search (requires 10.5 or newer)! That is much nicer than the built-in map, but since it requires Internet access, the old map is still available. Many thanks to Dirk Stichling!
* New CoverPrint templates: one for US-Letter format Avery 5692 labels, and one more for the HP Photosmart Direct Print. Thanks a lot to Deneen Winchester-Ristow and David Robinson for their incredible help on this!
* Double clicking a found item coming from iPhoto will now show this item in iPhoto. There is also a contextual menu command for this, too. You can get iPhoto results by using the GeoFinder, and asking it to search the iPhoto 8 database, too

CDFinder fabrique à présent des vignettes (thumbnails) pour les fichiers vidéo ! Cette fonctionnalité concerne un grand nombre de formats de fichiers, tels avi, mov, mp4, m4v, mpg, flv, mkv, et autres. Elle nécessite QuickTime, et éventuellement certains plugins. CDFinder ne se contente pas d'utiliser la première image d'un film, mais pénètre dans le déroulement du film pour saisir une vignette à peu près à 20% du déroulement de ce film.

La fonction GeoFinder étendue a à présent une interface utilisateur plus lisible, et peut rechercher à l'intérieur de vos données iPhoto 8 ! De la sorte, sans importer aucune donnée dans CDFinder à partir d'iPhoto, on peut retrouver toute photo prise à un endroit précis !

La fonction de transfert sur Locr a été largement étendue : elle concerne aussi désormais les photos sans marqueurs geotags, et il est possible de transférer parallèlement plusieurs photos à une vitesse toujours plus grande. D'autre part, on peut obtenir une liste de ses propres albums sur le serveur Locr, et placer les photos transférées dans l'un d'entre eux, ou bien en créer un nouveau.

CDFinder sait aussi à présent cataloguer les coordonnées GPS des fichiers XMP ou des enregistrements XMP des photos (utilisés par GeoTate, Jobo, et autres).

Un nouveau code RAR catalogue le contenu des archives de taille supérieure à 4 Go.

L'exportation KMZ a été améliorée grâce à un meilleur contenu KML,et une option pour inclure ou exclure les métadonnées.

Possibilité d'exclure du catalogage des fichiers sur la base de leurs suffixes, ou des dossiers sur la base de leurs noms, grâce à un fichier nommé DatabaseSettings.xml placé dans le dossier des données CDFinder. Plus de détails dans le Guide de l'Utilisateur CDFinder.

CDFinder détecte désormais certains types de fichiers même si les fichiers n'ont ni suffixe ni d'information sur le type de fichier. La détection fonctionne y compris avec les fichiers PDF, EPS, JPG, TIFF, et PSD. Évidemment, CDFinder procurera également une vignette (thumbnail) pour ces fichiers.

Les illustrations CoverArt des fichiers AAC seront de nouveau cataloguées, de façon à être compatibles avec le nouveau format introduit par iTunes 8.

CDFinder catalogue désormais les icônes de fichiers personnalisées.

Les textes d'information Podcast des fichiers MP3 et AAC est à présent catalogué, sera affiché et pourra donc faire l'objet d'une recherche.

La création de toutes les vignettes est à présent plus solide, et même les nombreux bogues de Mac OS X ne peuvent plus empêcher le fonctionnement de CDFinder.

Le commentaire des photos JPG photos est à présent catalogué (il s'agit du commentaire unique JPG, et non du commentaire IPTC, que CDFinder sait déjà cataloguer depuis la version 4.5).

Les contenus des images disque ".sparseimage" et ".iso" sont à présent eux aussi catalogués, (en sus des formats DMG et autres que CDFinder savait déjà traiter).

Les résultats de la recherche Spotlight et les fichiers iPhoto situés avec GeoFinder dans la fenêtre des éléments trouvés portent désormais en insigne le logo de Spotlight ou d'iPhoto.

Pendant le passage du mode d'affichage par icônes au mode d'affichage par listes, ou le changement dans la taille d'affichage des icônes, les éléments sélectionnés restent visibles.

CDFinder utilise à présent QuickTime pour créer l'aperçu des fichiers PSD, dans la mesure où CoreGraphics connaît de nombreux bogues avec des masques transparents dans les fichiers Photoshop, que QuickTime négocie étonnamment bien.

Correction d'un bogue : les photos RAW prises avec le nouveau with the new Nikon Coolpix P6000 sont à présent cataloguées.

Correction d'un bogue : on peut de nouveau faire glisser des fichiers depuis les catalogues CDFonder sur le bureau, pu ouvrir une fenêtre Finder. CDFinder demande alors à ce qu'on nsère le volume correspondant, puis copie les fichiers concernés vers leur destination.

Correction d'un bogue : un problème concernant la duplication de volumes contenant certain caractères spéciaux a été résolu.

Correction d'un bogue : la lecture des données JPEG-GPS écrites avec le Dawntech di.Gps Mini II fonctionnera désormais sans encombre. il y avait une légère variation des données qui perturbait les versions précédentes de CDFinder. - Correction d'un bogue : résolution de plusieurs problèmes avec AppleScript, au nombre desquels la sélection of catalogues ; elle s'effectuait toujours sur la seule liste de catalogues de gauche, mais jamais sur l'aperçu actif dans la fenêtre principale.

Correction d'un bogue : pour certains fichiers audio, le genre est désormais de nouveau catalogué correctement.
