Compressor
1176LN is a TDM plug-in which reproduces the classic analog 1176LN limiting amplifier. Originally designed and built during the 1960's, the 1176LN was the first to use a field effect transistor (FET) as a voltage controlled variable resistor, and that innovation was the key to the product's unique character.
Included with the 1176LN is the 1176SE compressor. This compressor is a less DSP-intensive version of the 1176LN, but its behavior is practically identical to the 1176LN, and its sound is nearly identical too.
* The 1176LN can run one instance at 44.1 and 48k on both the Mix and HD systems. It will not run at 96k.
* The 1176SE can run 6 instances on HD at 44.1k and 48k, and four in the Mix system. At 96k, you get three instances, and 192k, you get one
