Complete spatial audio design suite
Vibestudio Designer 2 is a professional 3D audio design suite comprised of two applications: VibeStation and Profiler.Together these applications create a one of a kind spatial audio package that provides the ability to compose and render spatial audio scenes to binaural headphones or 2.1, 4.1, 5.1, 7.1, 8.1, or 10.2 loudspeaker display.
VibeStation is the first of its kind 3D audio design and runtime environment. It provides a comprehensive editing suite for authoring and rendering 3D audio content for post-production, live audio, exhibition, lecture, immersive theater, or virtual environment systems. Based on SoundScape3D technology, VibeStation gives you the ability to render amazingly realistic immersive audio for headphones, surround sound or large speaker arrays....

VibeStation is the first of its kind 3D audio design and runtime environment. It provides a comprehensive editing suite for authoring and rendering 3D audio content for post-production, live audio, exhibition, lecture, immersive theater, or virtual environment systems. Based on SoundScape3D technology, VibeStation gives you the ability to render amazingly realistic immersive audio for headphones, surround sound or large speaker arrays.
Vibestation allows you to create and audition complex audio scenes by simply dragging scene elements onto an interactive 3D canvas. Those elements can be audio files, ReWire inputs, audio inputs, VOIP inputs, scene geometry, or motion paths. Control the behavior of any of those scene elements using either VibeStation's timeline editor or you can control them interactively using Open Sound Control.
Profiler is a tool that lets you optimize the way SoundScape3D renders sound binaurally over headphones. Binaural rendering involves the use of Head Related Transfer Functions (HRTF) to give listeners the impression of a sound coming from a certain direction. Because they are based on the shape of a person's head, pinna, and upper-body, HRTFs are unique to each individual. This creates a problem because measuring each listener's HRTF is an involved process and is not practical in most cases.
As a remedy to this, we've pioneered the use of a best-fit selection process that finds the best matching HRTF for each listener from a database of over 90 HRTFs. Profiler does this using a scientifically validated technique that guids the user through a series of listening tests resulting in the selection of their optimal HRTF. This process results in the creation of a listener profile that can be selected for use in VibeStation.
