Axon

Axon introduces an Audio Damage original: the Neuron Sequencer. A radical departure from traditional x0x- or MPD-style sequencers, the Neuron Sequencer generates rhythms and melodies with a network of interconnected nodes called neurons. Each neuron has a flexible but simple to use FM-based synthesizer capable of generating electronic percussion sounds and metallic tones. Axon includes an internal mixer for setting the relative levels and stereo positions of these seven synthesizers. The mixer also feeds a stereo delay and a pair of filters, both drawn from Audio Damage's highly regarded effects plug-ins. Axon's neurons also transmit MIDI note messages so you can use Axon to drive your favorite hardware or software synthesizers, sample players, etc. Axon can receive MIDI note messages and be used as a software synthesizer without using its internal sequencer.
