Live audio buffer
FlashbackTM uses your computer's RAM to buffer the last running 15 minutes of live audio on a track or master fader, so you can go up to 15 minutes back in time, retrieve the audio, and save it. It never stops, faithfully capturing all incoming audio at full session bit depth and sample rate, sitting unobtrusively in the background as an RTAS plug-in, until you need it to turn back the hands of time and save the otherwise-lost audio to track via AudioSuite. If it happened in the last 15 minutes, you can retrieve it from RAM and save it to track, by clicking Freeze in RTAS and Process in AudioSuite!

Functional Features:
• Streaming/frozen dual-buffer switchover design never misses a sample between buffer freezes
• Overflow feature allows Flashback to continue capturing new audio once buffer is full
• Audio captured and written at true bit depth and sample rate of session
• Unique design combines RTAS for audio capture and AudioSuite for track-writing operations
• Adjustable buffer size from 1 to 15 minutes
• Stereo and mono capability
• Optimized CPU usage with zero performance-to-delay correlation
• Unique design uses RTAS to capture audio and AudioSuite to write it to track
• Dual buffer switchover design never misses a sample between freeze events
• Supports sample rates up to 192 kHz
• Supports all standard hardware controllers
