All DDMF plugins are now available in RTAS (Protools) format (except the plugin chainer Metaplugin, for legal reasons). The new format is available for all owners of the current versions for free, just like that, de nada. AAX (the upcoming Protools format) versions will follow later this year, this update will also be free.
This new major update transforms NYCompressor from an 'ordinary' mono/stereo effect to a true two-channel plugin. This means that when inserted on stereo tracks, you can now choose to have two independent instances in one common GUI that either affect the left and the right or, probably even more interesting, the mid and the side channel. Also, NYCompressor is now available for Windows 64 bit.
Small bugs concerning mono compatibility, saving of settings on MacOSX and a crash when turning the wet/dry button to 0 % have been fixed.
A bug causing the filter choice to jump erratically has been fixed. True sidechaining is now also possible in Logic (Mac OSX). And: an option to choose between a "hard" and a "soft" knee in the dB response curve has been added.
