A zero-latency convolution reverb

SIR2 is an easy to use native audio-plugin to use for high quality reverberation. It offers zero-latency processing with low CPU-consumption and non-destructive audio processing of impulse responses. SIR2 includes high definition impulse responses (HDIR) of *real* places produced by Pinguin, Hamburg.

  • the plugin is now a 32bit/64bit Universal Binary

  • Mac OS 10.5 (or newer) and intel-processor is now required

  • Mac: because of changes in newer releases of Mac OSX, the setup installs the plugin-binaries into the default user plugin directory and not in the system plugin directory:

    • "/Users/UserName/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins" instead "/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins"

    Setup in Windows Vista now automatically requires administrator rights, if UAC (User Account Control) is activated. This can prevent installation issues (dll can't be written in "Program Files" directory)
