Physical-modelling synthesizer
Modelonia is a novel physical-modelling virtual synthesizer which uses a hybrid of two distinct model system : a plucked-string model, and a blown-bore (horn type) model. Each model may be used simultaneously, and the signal path allows cross-modulation between the two for more interesting and complex tones.
Modelonia is not simply an acoustic instrument emulation. Advanced physical modeling technology has been used to enable \"live\" and expressive new sounds and harmonic textures. Modelonia has therefore been designed to be the first compact multi-purpose virtual sythesizer that uses physical-modelling techniques as the only sound source. The demo version has the following limitations: no preset save functionality, a periodic soft noise output, and higher CPU usage than the full version. Modelonia is skinnable and comes with two different skins.
