Independence Basic

These versions come with improvements for the stability and several bug fixes.

Version 2.5.3 of the Independence Pro Software Suite and Independence Free come with major performance and stability improvements for all platforms, operating systems and interfaces. These updates are free for all registered users and are available for download in the yellow tools User Area.
Some of the new features are:

extended automation option "no scaling"; very useful to assign several parameters to the same Custom Knob (volume, Panorama and Reverb Wet, for example)

2 additional Key Switch modes: "next note" and "hold" for intuitive live performances

new "Repetition Key" mode: the last played note gets repeated automatically (hot key)

user interfaces of ENGINE powered products can get activated on the Independence Quick Edit page

Pro Groove Extension:

For the first time it is possible to create, edit, customize, overlap, etc. multi-dynamic MIDI files in a software sampler!!! With the Pro Groove Extension you can work with MIDI files and edit them like "Zones" in the Independence Mapping Editor.

Arpeggiator:
The professional Independence Arpeggiator comes with many extremely usable features - be sure you'll have a lot fun with it. That's why we call it "The Inspiration Factory".

Step Sequencer:

The Step Sequencer is a very powerful tool to create custom sequences you want to play back continously - with only one key and always time accurately!
You can add as many Step Sequencers to Independence as you want - each supports up to 64 steps.

HOST & MIDI Automation:

All Independence Insert filter and effects parameters now support entire host and MIDI automation directly in the Layer, the Layer mixer channels, custom channels (internal virtual channels), BUS channels and mixer output channels. Additionally also all Mixer parameters like volume, panorama, solo, mute and BUS volume support the host and MIDI automation.

Beside several bugfixes and improvements Independence 1.0.6 contains 1 new insert filter (2D filter) and 2 new insert effects (doubler and filter delay). Additionally the "autoload" feature is now available for all Independence insert filters and effects.
