Version 2.8 adds 64-bit to the Universal Binary, and fixes a problem with the number formatting in the text fields of the user interface. In addition, version 2.8 requires Mac OS X 10.5 or greater.
Version 2.7 adds a custom Cocoa user interface. In addition, the maximum value for the "Beats" parameter has been increased from 4.0 to 8.0. Additionally, it is built to support Intel-based Macintosh computers.
Please note that the Cocoa view does not resize correctly in Logic 7.1; this is an issue with Logic, and will be corrected in a future version of Logic. Resizing works without a problem in GarageBand and other AU hosts that host Cocoa views.
Version 2.5.0 really, truly behaves properly in the Mono->Stereo (really N->M) situation. There was a serious problem in previous versions, one that could cause the host application to crash when the effect was bypassed (many N->M effects have this problem). This version correctly passes the most recent tests in Apple's Audio Units Validation Tool (1.1.3a2, as of this writing).
