SoundShuttle AU for Mac OSX,opens as an Audio Units software instrument from within a compatible host sequencer. With SoundShuttle, more than 40,000 sounds in the PowerFX database can be previewed, auditioned and downloaded for use in a digital audio sequencer. Users can search for and preview sounds to hear how they work in their productions before buying.
After purchasing and downloading the SoundShuttle plug-in and running the installer, users log in to the PowerFX online library for instant access to thousands of sounds and samples. Extensive search capabilities allow the user to search by: genre, types of sounds, instruments, tempo, key and more. SoundShuttle provides users with looping preview files, real-time synchronization with the user's host, the ability to unzip sounds on the fly, and drag-and-drop downloads to the host. Desired sounds are purchased via credit card from within the plug-in via the secure PowerFX server. Purchased sounds are marked in the result list of the plug-ins search window and can be sorted and downloaded anytime.
