OpenMusic (OM) is a visual programming environment for creating computer aided composition applications on the Macintosh.

OM offers the user a number of visual modules, each of which is associated with a specific function and visual icon. The user needs only to connect the modules together using the mouse in order to create a program, called a patch, for generating or transforming musical material. Patches may be imbedded in each other.
