TL MasterMeter is the first oversampling meter for Pro Tools TDM and is designed for critical mixing and mastering applications.
Clients in the music industry regularly demand the loudest possible mixes. In the process of achieving such a 'hot mix', unwanted distortion can be introduced. By oversampling the final audio mix in the same way as the converters in a CD player, TL MasterMeter enables engineers to identify potential peaks which may occur on playback. Regular and intersample peaks can be quickly compared over a period of time in order to produce a more accurate mix with less distortion when played by the end user.
